4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

One day an entrepreneur presented the chalkboard presentation you are about to read to 7 people, one of them acted on the facts and retired wealthy in under one year. He went on to write international best sellers books that have been translated into dozens of languages. The other 6 people spent the rest of their lives as laborer bees and are either dead or dead broke!

What I said. It is not outcome that the actual about 4Th Grade Math. You look at this article for home elevators anyone need to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is A Seo counselor Shares How "This Class Was Banned!"

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

Soon it will be your occasion to make a decision based on the same facts. Read closely as the guy at the chalkboard was the one that took action and speaks from experience.

This facts is so threatening that in 2009, after he was invited to deliver it at a major university, the hierarchy at that same practice censored him. In fact this "Class was Banned".

Chalkboard Presentation

There are two "Economic Plans" in this world today - The 40 Year Plan and the 4 Year Plan

The 40 Year Plan:

It's a giant Pyramid task in which the top 1% control 95% of all assets. That is how a Pyramid works and that is a statistical fact about North America.

Fact: The Drones Do All the Work and the Elite, even if there companies fail, get multi-billion dollar annual bonuses, that flow directly from the lowest 95%.

For 50 years those that are in power have underground the fact that the 40 Year Plan is a Pyramid and denied that the 4 Year Plan is the last bastion of free enterprise.

Those engaged in the 40 Year Plan are tiny more than digital share croppers and virtual laborer bees who have grown so weary that they have virtually given up.

"Do Not!!!...there is an option.

In the 40 Year Plan, essentially you come to be what I would call a "Drone" a "Worker Bee". Statistically this is what happens.

At age 25 most of us have a sense of direction and at age 65 there is a very consuming statistic that occurs - after 40 years. For 40 Years the average person goes back and forth to work, back and forth, back and forth like a silly sick caged lion. And after 40 years on this plan, and it does not matter, Drones are Drones, your uniform may be a tiny blue shirt with a name tag, it may be a white coat and a stethoscope, and there are different uniforms for different drones. But these people go back and forth to work for 40 years of the 40 Year Plan. Here is the compelling statistic, out of every 100 American's who starts at age 25 with a sense of direction, by age 65, 31 are dead, 68 are broke and 1 person is independently wealthy.

The 40 Year Plan is what we teach and what our kids have been taught for years and years and years. It is hokum compared to the 4 Year Plan. Now please understand, here is the lure of the 40 Year Plan, its called composition Interest. And the way that works is if you can get your hands on 0,000.00 and go through 5 cycles of life that each last 8 years.

Remember composition Interest means that your money doubles every 8 years. So if you could get your hands on 0,000 dollars at age 25. Let's say that you work hard from age 22 to age 25 and you get your hands on that 0,000 dollars, here is the beauty of it.

Here is what you earn in the 5 year cycle - its called composition Interest and it is the way that the Drones and laborer Bees make their money in the 40 Year Plan:

1st 8 years cycle = $ 200,000

2nd 8 years cycle = $ 400,000

3rd 8 years cycle = $ 800,000

4th 8 years cycle = $ 1.6 million

5th 8 year cycle = $ 3.2 million

which gives you ,000 a month for retirement.

Let me ask you a question? Have you got a 0,000 dollars in checking? Do you think you will ever have 0,000 in checking, or in savings that you can put in a interest account for five - 8 year cycles so you can retire with .2 million dollars, and bye-the-way if you started today that .2 million in 40 years, based on the cost of living increases and regular inflation at current rates, would be worth about 0,000. an additional one words, you would be living below the poverty level if you stayed on the 40 Year Plan!

Now that is what the 40 Year Plan is all about!

Now what happened was, this guy steps up to the blackboard and he erases the 40 Year Plan and replaces it with the 4 Year Plan.

Is a clear alternative to traditional capitalism that offers rapid and dramatic monthly wage tied to legitimate products or services rather than investments that fund composition Interest?

It's inherent to fail or effect in either plan but there are two huge differences.

1) Fail at the 4 Year Plan and you are out a join of hundred dollars and a few months worth of effort.

2) Fail at the 40 Year Plan, like 99% do and your headed for an elderly dormitory where you will run out the clock playing "Bingo" for toaster ovens with oatmeal dribbling down your chin.

Succeed in the 4 Year Plan and your well on your way to being wealthy in 40 months.

Succeed in the 40 Year Plan and you will be able to pay cash for the hearing aids and the electric cart you will be using to get colse to WalMart and hear the nice lady or man on the loud speaker announce the sale on "Jell-o".

The 4 Year Plan is so consuming because it allows people to basically get complicated in a schedule that will allow them to shop for best products at home that are shipped to them on a regular basis and come to be wealthy in 4 years instead of tying your assets to any kind of security, real estate, investment or financial sector expert. There is no principle to manage, there is no problem, and basically it is called necessary with Interest.

In the 4 Year Plan, and this shocked me when I seen it, lets say it cost 0.00 to come to be a representative of a firm that markets products that you are excited about and that every person already uses. Toothpaste, shampoo, soap whatever, I am a great believer in re-directed spending rather than behavioral modification.

Lets say you get 12 people in your first year, that all spend 0.00 to get started and are spending 0 a month on goods themselves, but they are not for real because every person they bring in for 0.00 they earn say 40% (they get 0) from that starter kit.

If you bring in 1 person a month for a year you then have 12 people who bring in 1 person who is shopping for free for 0 that is creating ,200 in volume.

In the 2nd year that 12 becomes 144 (the Federal Trade Commission and the Regulators of the government hate it when you try and pretend that there will be a mathematically certainty of growth, there will not be, you might have to get 150 people to find 12 who will stay with you).

So lets just be honest for once, the 4 Year Plan is as it implies, there is a lot of money in it, but it is going to be hard, hard work.

You have 12 people who are capable of getting 1 person a month, now you have 144 people at 0, do your own calculations.

Then in the 3rd year every person just got 1 person, and again, they will not, I am just giving you an idea here, you would have 1,600 people at 0. You can do the math yourself, get out your calculator.

There are hundreds of companies; they all pay different amounts with different overrides in commissions. The point is in the 4 Year Plan your Capital is tied to a "Proprietary Funding Vehicle" and its principle is interest rather than trusting person in the financial industry to invest your money in WorldCom or Enron just in time for the collapse.

And in the 4th year and this is why we call it the 4 Year Plan, you would have almost 20,000 people at 0 a month. I am not going to do any wage projections, get out your own calculator.

Some companies are going to pay you on these 20,000 people a small percentage, maybe 2 - 5% some are going to pay you 8% but get your calculator out and run the numbers. In the 4th year you have 20,000 goods consumers who are ordering 0 a month for their families to use, you are sitting on 20,000 x 100 that is million in the backwoods of Missouri and I guess it is in your hometown too. Do the math, what would you get on million a month, rights Funding necessary of Interest that comes to you by FedEx.

The 40 Year Plan is for Drones, and I do not care what uniform you are wearing, if you are working 60 - 70 hour weeks, fighting traffic, carrying a cell phone. If you are tethered all day to a wireless feed drip of irreverent garble, like a text machine, if your twitting, hey, switch to the 4 Year Plan!

Your getting this facts for free, the imagine you are getting it for free, is because the presenter of the presentation cannot believe in this day and age, that he could be censored and banned, from teaching this to a graduate Economics class in a major university. That is how scared the people in Power are of you finding out what he found out in April of '86.

One fact cannot be debated, the man delivering this chalkboard presentation decided to join the "New Game", in 11 months he was earning adequate to semi-retire and move to a Aspen Ski home. Since then he has coached 1,000's of people worldwide and written some best sellers.

The person who directed you to this presentation is in Our Plan or you would not be reading this. Switch Plans and change your life or ignore this message like the 6 others who saw it at the same time it was presented and stay the same.

Most of those who ignored this chalkboard presentation are now calling the presenter for help. Unfortunately they have wasted years, so we urge you to change Plans Today!

I do not know what you are going to do with this information, but when the learner who retired first saw this chalkboard demonstration, he did not sleep for a week, he was crazy, he was trembling, mental how come every person does not know about this and the "mentor" that showed him the chalkboard presentation said "Well, because no body dares to teach this in scholastic circles", it should be started in the first grade. In the first grade people should be exposed to the 4 Year Plan and it should evolve throughout all their education; instead we have reached a point where he is no longer allowed to teach it at the college level. That is because it is "too volatile" because they are turning out "Drones" and that is all they want drones and laborer bees for profits for themselves.

As the learner of the presenter said "Listen to me carefully, the 40 Year Plan is not do able anymore, the 4 Year Plan is great, I got on it and it took me 11 months to move to Aspen as I have said and the rest of my life has been an absolute fairytale. No degree, no special skills, no wealthy parents, no funding, no money, no real estate, no cash, all I did was get complicated in the 4 Year Plan and I worked hard and in 11 months it was like woopie-de-do-zippy-do-dah, every month the cheques came in".

Principal Interest based on rights Funding Vehicles I hope the 40 Year Plan excites you but I hope the 4 Year Plan changes your Life.

The fellow who I am talking about told me about his being banned from teaching this 4 Year Plan only 4 months ago that was December 2009.

I hope you will get new knowledge about 4Th Grade Math. Where you can put to used in your everyday life. 4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

So, what's so extra about Bakugan?

What I said. It isn't outcome that the true about 4Th Grade Math. You see this article for information on anyone want to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is What's So extra About Bakugan Battle Brawlers? Dan and Drago, Warrior Friends & Bakugan Toys

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

First of all, the spelling is kind of a mystery. Especially when you don't have it in front of you. How would you spell it? It's a little tricky, isn't it? A little intriguing.  Even I spell it wrong (backagone, bacagon, etc.). But kids know exactly how to spell it.

Secondly, the whole thing is just plain addicting. The show, those "balls," the characters. You can't have just one.  They come in many keen colors, sizes and shapes. They open to separate characters and shapes, that look cool. Most kids have at least 10. You need 3 to battle.

If you ask any kid in grade school (2nd, 3rd, 4th grade and up) you'll get your answer.  Bakugan Battle Brawler toys are so irresistible and catching on quick - so quick in fact, that they are the new Pokemon in my opinion. And better. Besides being able to battle with them yourself - roll them colse to on the table, you can battle with your friends at recess, "they're portable," and can fit in your pocket, purse or backpack. And like Pokemon, institution math at the same time. A new more sophisticated, higher tech Pokemon. There are cards, "balls" or battle brawlers, and operation frame characters. And of course, a tv show, dvd and cool lesson books. There is a battle arena which is great for playing at home, and many toys that are arrival out on a quarterly basis. They sell out every morning at our local Target, so the best place to buy them is online.

So, what is Bakugan all about? Just throwing some plastic balls onto a card and playing the game?

No! Not just, and only that...there's much more to it. There's a whole entire world of Bakugan, a whole story that goes along with it.  Dan and his friends are finally trying to save the earth, and the parallel universe Vestroia from the Bakugan monsters, so they Battle and fight to win. Dan and his young warrior friends initially opinion the cards they found and battled with were just a fun game but the characters on the cards were Bakugan monsters with their own program and it's come to be a race to restore peace throughout the universe.

The graphics for Bakugan are outstanding. Eye catching colors and designs of the characters and setting are so cool and outrageous. Think Fantasy purples, reds, blues and greens, foreign territory and outer space. The posters look just as awesome as the cards and tv show. They will without fail transform your room or playroom.

So, if your seeing for something fun, fabulous and a little separate this year for Christmas....you'll know just what to get. And, don't forget the stocking stuffers.

I hope you get new knowledge about 4Th Grade Math. Where you possibly can offer use in your daily life. Do you know about - Why School in a Box Doesn't all the time Work

4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

Homeschoolers, especially those new to homeschooling, often buy "school in a box" curriculum packages. These are groups of products collected together by the curriculum seller, ordinarily by age or grade level, that are supposed to "have it all" or nearly all. By "all" they mean outside all or nearly all your required core, basic subjects - maths, language arts, science, and social studies.( Of course, language arts includes reading, writing, handwriting, spelling, vocabulary, etc.) These are meant to ease the parents' choices in purchasing materials, save planning time, and since most come with part plans and/or instructor guides included, make the day-to-day workings of the homeschool easier and better, too. And they'd be great - if they worked.

What I said. It is not outcome that the actual about 4Th Grade Math. You check out this article for information on an individual need to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is Why School in a Box Doesn't all the time Work

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

Many of the school in a box packages don't work with many families and their students for several common reasons: no room for individuality, too complicated or complicated, too demanding, and/or too assuming. Let's look at each one.

1.) No room for individuality - The social school theory has learned the hard way that when it comes to teaching children, especially young children, one size does not fit all. So too, with school in a box curriculum. What may be appropriate for your 4th grader isn't necessarily a good fit for mine. Your hands on student may do wonderfully with your school in a box, while my auditory student struggles. My student may come to be fascinated with the ancient Sumerians, but the teaching schedule only allows us two weeks to cover them and their time period. Trying to put kids in a box seldom works. There has to be room for customizing the program, following those rabbit trails of interest, production allowances for dissimilar levels and styles of learning. Otherwise, why not just send them to school?

2.) Too complicated or complicated - This complaint ordinarily has more to do with the teacher-parent materials than it does with the children's items. However, if mom or dad can't quite outline out how to make it all fit together, or if using the teaching schedule takes a Master's degree in engineering, how can the materials be used to their, and the students', fullest potentials?

3.) Too demanding - So, you can read and understand the teacher's materials at a glance. Your children are right on target skill-wise and learning style-wise. But, the darn stuff takes you 6 hours a day, leaves you all exhausted and cranky, and you've accumulated so much dirty laundry through neglect of your other duties that the latest team of Everest climbers is knocking on the door requesting a training run. Could be your school in a box is just too time spicy and demanding.

4.) Too assuming - A school in a box curriculum that is too assuming is one that assumes because your child is 10, he can do X, Y and Z and therefore not only doesn't teach him X, Y and Z but builds upon those skills with Q, R and S. Many school in a box curriculum publishers start at the very beginning, with Kindergarten or even preschool materials. So, by the time a student of theirs has reached the ripe old age of 10, he has learned X, Y and Z and is ready to move on to Q, R and S. The problem arises when your child begins at age 10, without the benefit of all those earlier years of this single school in a box program. It might be the best schedule in the world and a excellent fit for your child's learning style, but if it's too developed or too far behind his skill abilities, what's the use?

When considering homeschool curriculum materials, my best advice is this: avoid those nicely prepackaged school in a box programs. Unless you are beginning from scratch with your Kindergartener (or anyone grade/age/year your chosen schedule begins) you may find more bother than savings. Unless you are clear that the schedule is "the thing" - and it's very difficult to find just "the thing" when homeschooling, stay as far away from prepackaged programs as possible. It's not much of a time saver, or a money saver, when you realize your "perfect" school in a box should be done indefinitely.

I hope you receive new knowledge about 4Th Grade Math. Where you'll be able to put to use in your everyday life. Inattentive Adhd - consider Medication

4Th Grade Math - Inattentive Adhd - consider Medication The content is nice quality and useful content, Which is new is that you just never knew before that I know is that I have discovered. Prior to the unique. It's now near to enter destination Inattentive Adhd - consider Medication. And the content related to 4Th Grade Math.

Do you know about - Inattentive Adhd - consider Medication

4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

I know, I know. The issue of whether or not to use medication as a customary treatment for children with Adhd is a controversial and emotional one. Many parents of Adhd kids are adamantly opposed to the idea of drugs and refuse to even think it as an choice Sadly, there are those that are contemptuous, judgmental, and at times, downright hostile to those parents that do select to treat their child's Adhd symptoms with medication. But despite social anxiety over the treatment of a behavioral health with drugs, doctors have prolonged to prescribe stimulant medications...and parents have prolonged to use them to help their children... Because - quite simply - they work good than anyone else. The disadvantages are potential side effects (which could be "jitteriness", loss of appetite, tummy aches, or headaches)...and the temporary nature of medication. If you stop using it you forfeit the advantage or gains.

What I said. It is not outcome that the real about 4Th Grade Math. You read this article for information about that want to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is Inattentive Adhd - consider Medication

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

Commonly Prescribed Adhd Medication and How it Works.

The most preferred Adhd drugs are stimulants. The most common of these are Adderall, Ritalin, Daytrana, Dexedrine, and Concerta. Long acting stimulants like Concerta are taken once a day, and hire a time publish delivery throughout an 8 to 12 hour period. Some practical advantages are that it maintains level and consistent levels of medication all day...eliminates the need to take a pill at school...and is regularly still in result while homework is being done. Interestingly, stimulants are used to treat both Hyperactive and Inattentive Adhd.

Stimulants are used in small amounts and in the brain they increase the levels of dopamine and norepinephrine. In particular, additional norepinephrine may help to increase attention, while dopamine may promote calm. It's also been discovered that these drugs tend to work most in the prefrontal cortex of the brain, which is an area of the brain idea related to attention and to things like impulsivity. Important research suggests that knowing the area of the brain in which Adhd drugs work might be used to customize drugs that treat Adhd better. Be prepared that sometimes, it may take some trial and error to find the medication and dose that works best for your child.

There are other medications that are not stimulants that can be used as Adhd drugs. The most common of these is atomoxetene, sold under thebrand name Strattera. Atomoxetene was originally created to work as an antidepressant, and this data helps to explicate how it works. Instead of creating more norepinephrine, it blocks absorption or reuptake of norepinephrine. This leaves more ready in the brain to help enhance attention and focus. However, it also has been related with psychotic and very suicidal reactions in a amount of children and organizations like the Food and Drug supervision require a black box warning on it. This doesn't mean that Adhd drugs like atomoxetene aren't useful, but you do have to be very careful when weighing the risks of using this drug. There are some other options that have been prescribed for Adhd, such as the anti-depressant Wellbutrin. But stimulants are regularly the first line of defense and the most often chosen Adhd medication.

Why I Decided to Try Medication for my Son's Adhd.

At first, I, like a lot of parents, was very resistant to our pediatrician's recommendation that we try treating my son's Inattentive Adhd with meds. I just undoubtedly didn't like the idea of putting my son on drugs every day. I felt surely, there must be a good way to beat this. I researched and tried, every other feasible option, but saw no requisite change. Despite our best efforts, we just couldn't seem to get a cope on this thing, while my son prolonged to struggle and slide downhill. Then two events forced me to reconsider.

For the first time, when they called Gabriel's name at his school's honor assembly, he received not one scholastic award, and was the only one in his class to leave the stage empty handed. He was humiliated and devastated. Then he had to go back to his classroom where all the other kids were celebrating, comparing awards, and unkindly teasing him (when the instructor wasn't looking) which, of course, made him feel even worse. Trying not to cry, and with his head hung low, this 3rd grader, my baby, looked beaten. It was as though all the air had been sucked out of him. I tried to cheer him up, but when I got outside the school I burst into tears and cried for a long time.

I made up mind then and there that drastic performance was called for. In addition, I felt increasing pressure to find a clarification because Gabriel's statewide Crct exam was fast approaching and if he didn't pass he would be held back. This I had to prevent, come hell or high water, as I knew it would undoubtedly wipe out what little trust and self esteem he had left. I had to try something different and I had to do it fast. So, reluctantly, I called his physician and revisited the idea of treating Gabriel's Inattentive Adhd with medication. I asked myself, how could I continue to refuse to even try something that could dramatically enhance Gabriel's life? If it didn't work... Or if it proved harmful...I was in operate and would stop it immediately. But what if it worked? When looked at that way I was willing to take a chance.

Did Medication Help or Hurt my Son?

After much deliberation, research and soul searching we decided to start Gabriel on the bottom potential dose (27 mg) of the long performance stimulant drug, Concerta. He took it just once a day, in the morning, but only on school days, not on weekends or vacation. He experienced no side effects. Within two weeks I began to see noticeable improvement. It was working. A small dose of medication has made all the contrast in the world.

Now, he completed most of his homework in his afterschool program before I picked him up. anyone he had left to finish at home he did independently and in half the time. When asked a question, he no longer gave me a blank stare or a yawn in response. When I checked his homework and pointed out a mistake, he maintained a unavoidable attitude, and fixed it quickly, by himself. If he needed help with something, he could grasp and remember what had been explained to him and he could apply it correctly. He remembered his multiplication tables. Even his handwriting improved.

He did extra custom at home for his Crct. He wasn't thrilled, but he made an honest effort. He still didn't like to read for pleasure, but would read what was required for homework with much good comprehension. He passed his Crct. He was promoted to 4th grade. In 4th grade he made honor roll both semesters, though in some classes (especially math) his grades could vary wildly from a 60 to a 100 on class work and tests. Amazingly, this time he didn't just barely pass his Crct-he did well!! And now, in the first months of 5th grade, he is habitancy of the Month, pays attention and participates in class, is earning consistent good grades, and received three As and a B on his first advance description Card.

I Offer my caress as Evidence of what is potential for Your Child.

I tell you this not to be smug, brag or boast, although I am proud of what my son has achieved. I share this because I want you to know there is hope and there is help ready for your child. No parent takes the decision to medicate their child lightly. But knowing what has undoubtedly worked, or not worked, for man in your same situation cuts the learning curve, reduces the fear factor, and gives you ideas that you can build on. Meds may not be the way to go for everyone. I just know that, despite my fears, and my husband's reservations, they helped turn it nearby for my son, with hardly any downside.

Does he love school now? Not really. Does he enjoy homework? No. Does it all come easy? No. But success breeds more success and boosts confidence. He now believes he is as smart as the next guy and can do it if he tries. I perceive everyone's caress is different, but I am unavoidable now that this was the right decision for my son and might perhaps be the answer for your child too. There is no doubt in my mind that Concerta... Along with a few uncomplicated classroom accommodations... And a lot of hard work and support at home...is what helped my son bounce back from Inattentive Adhd, and was the key to finally unlocking his true potential.

I hope this description has been helpful and informative. And that something you have read here will inspire you to additional research an choice that you may not have previously known about, or considered, for your child. For more data try Adhd parent forums, or Chadd, Children and Adults with attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Good Luck and God Bless.

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

There are many theories for dyslexia. These various theories should not be seen as competing. For there are many types of dyslexia and scientists even today have a large estimate of trouble discerning one type of dyslexia from another.

The Evolutionary ideas - This ideas states that mans ancestors brains weren't designed to read or write and that dyslexia is just determined humans brains strangeness to understand this relatively new concept.

The connection Theory- This ideas states that they're more connections between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This would by comparison the fact that many citizen with dyslexia prefer there left hand or ambidextrous and were others strangely prefer their right hand with things like writing while they also prefer their left hand for things like painting or sports. It would also help by comparison why some citizen with dyslexia are thought to use determined right sides of their brain for things like math which are supposed to be controlled by the left side of the brain.

Cerebellar Theory- This ideas states that the cerebellum part of the brain is dysfunctional. The cerebellum is the part of the brain that coordinates our movements and also helps us with language and attention/

Magnocellular theory- This ideas is somewhat of a aggregate between the evolutionary ideas and the cerebellar theories.

There is another ideas that states that the brain plainly is more fragile and possess more little cuts on it.

It is worth noting that having dyslexia in no way points to a lack of intelligence. It is a studying disability and is also not caused by neglecting or other outside influences.

The most famed problem with dyslexia is how it affects your potential to read and write. It also affects you the most when you are younger (though it stays with you forever).

*Confused with left and right

*Takes longer to find a adored hand

*Has problems with determined letters mostly M N L and R

*Has problem with tying shoes

*Has trouble with rhyming

*Stuttering

*Late to being able to talk

What a lot of citizen don't know is there are many advantages to being Traditional dyslexic. These include.

*Improved creativity

*Greater potential to concentrate

*Greater potential to visualise

*Thinks more holistically

*Easily adaptive

*Greater brain activity

*Capable of looking things in a different light.

Also it should be noted that most great inventors had dyslexia such as Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein. It is believed by many that the infer why many citizen with dyslexia fail in life is not because lack of potential but because of lack of self-confidence instilled in them from there years in school. It is possible for citizen with dyslexia to come to be great at writing and reading with none accepted forms of training.

4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

Some citizen have the false impression that Rationals are all the time brilliant in any field. (A plan that is particularly reassuring right now, considering that Barack Obama, or new President-Elect, is a Rational personality!) Although they are often good students, Rationals may slack off in class if they do not find the branch matter compelling. The key is looking ways to make the data relevant to the Rational student; once engaged, Rationals will go to great lengths to learn and support the material. There are 4 sure types of Rationals: Fieldmarshal, Mastermind, inventor and Architect. Does one of them sound like you?

What I said. It isn't outcome that the actual about 4Th Grade Math. You look at this article for home elevators anyone need to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is What's in it For Me? Study Tips For Rational Temperaments

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

Jung, a Rational Fieldmarshal, did quite well in some business classes, but struggled with others. In his junior year, when he decided to pursue an Mba after graduation, Jung knew he would need to polish his study habits to earn top grades. He asked how he could heighten his study skills to get ready for graduate school. When Fieldmarshals study for a test or quiz, they do best to alternate in the middle of learning quietly and discussing the branch with others. Quiet study gives you a chance to procure data that your peers may not have. When possible, mark text areas deemed important, or dates to be memorized. Conversations can also help to solidify knowledge and gauge retention of the material. If a dialogue with fellow students is not possible, it can be helpful to discuss the material with your parents-even if they don't know a lot about the topic.

Craig, a Rational Mastermind, was very studious and enjoyed the complexity of problems found in Environmental Science. His bugaboo was Chemistry. He particularly hated the lab smells and plan it had minuscule application to his goal of working in governmental policy. Craig knew if he didn't get at least a B in the course, it could influence his job eligibility, so he talked to a counselor about overcoming his aversion and getting a decent grade. Masterminds normally apply willpower to learn what they want to learn. They want to know things in depth before putting ideas into operation. Motivation for things they dislike can be difficult. First, they need a quiet space to study. Try to think of beneficial applications for the procedure information, even if it doesn't apply to your area of interest. It is helpful to first read, then write, and lastly, institution (or at least consider) practical application and examples. Applying data from inside the brain into real world situations solidifies the material, helping to heighten both lab performance and test scores.

Charlotte, a Rational Inventor, aced her economics class, but got bogged down in detailed accounting courses. She needed help. Tips for Inventors: The inventor is plainly creative and exquisite at looking new ways to think about things. This asset can be a problem when learning exacting subjects, or when it is important to parrot back exact data or definitions. Study time should contain a compound of quiet study and discussion. Saying sure key phrases aloud manifold times will help those phrases to come up automatically. Also, be careful not to over-think the test material. Be sure to judge whether the professor wants a repetition of lecture material, or if there is a bonus for reinterpretation before enthralling in independent, free-wheeling thinking.

Trina, a Rational Architect, was learning Architecture. She easily loved build and had the patience to build intricate drawings. She sought guidance because she was not satisfied with her performance in physics and math classes. Architects do best with a quiet place to work and study. It's beneficial to try to settle which pieces of data will likely be on the test. Having trouble memorizing the material? Try writing the words or method on a piece of paper. Repeatedly solving the same 10 problems helps solidify knowledge of the thorough pattern, which can then be applied to other problems. When preparing for an oral report, institution talking out the study material to ensure a smooth, sure presentation. Trina should also be ready to give concrete examples of concepts; this demonstrates an comprehension of the study material.

There is not one exquisite way to study that suits all personality types; we all learn differently. This is the 4th and final installment of a series to help you study for midterms and earn higher test scores based on your temperament. Do you know about - building Your First Deck For Your Home

4Th Grade Math! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

This description will give you a good idea of what's involved in construction a deck. There are always quicker ways to do things and you will learn them and develop some of your own as you jaunt with your project. always work safely and make sure you have a good firm footing underneath you. A trip or slip with a power tool can be dangerous. Let's get started with some of the tools you will need for your project.

What I said. It is not outcome that the actual about 4Th Grade Math. You read this article for info on what you wish to know is 4Th Grade Math.

How is building Your First Deck For Your Home

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from 4Th Grade Math.

Tools Needed- galvanic saw, hand saw, hammer, 8,10 and 12 penny common galvanized nails, 4' level, string line, pencil, measuring tape, tripod and level gun (rent at your local rental store by the day), 5# sledge hammer, protection Glasses and a good pair of work gloves (your hands will love you for it).

Lumber Needed-If you cannot figure out from your plans what lumber you need, most lumber market will do a 'take-off" for you and sell you only what you need for your project. Many pre-made plans comprise a lumber list right on them! Get some extra 2 " x 4" x 8' long lumber for temporary supports, etc.. If you buy pre-cuts studs, they are even cheaper. You buy the cheapest thing they have as it is only for temporary use. You can always use them for something. Framing anchors are needed for the post bottoms ledger joist connections and today they make many types of handrail anchors if you want to use them. Look at the anchor chart at the store and see what they have.

Building a deck isn't as hard as it may appear. All decks have the same basic components, just more or less of them. Posts, piers, floor joists, decking, handrails and stairs are the major pieces of any deck. Footing piers are covered in my e-Book footings so we will assume you already have footings in place and are ready to frame your deck. construction plans are available at most major hardware and lumber market and give you tons of layout info even if the deck shown isn't exactly the size you want. Roughly anywhere in the country today, construction departments want your retain posts to remain above grade. When you check with them as to whether you need a construction permit or not, ask them. They will be glad to tell you what they expect to see. Remember, if you fail your inspection, they have to come back again and that is extra work for them. They want to pass you the first time!

The fellowships that contribute pressure rehabilitation to your posts have found the posts last a great deal longer if they are kept from having caress with the earth. I prefer this recipe as well and have found it to be true. Your pier footings or tubes should have been poured 2" above complete grade and this is where your new deck post will sit. You do not want to sit the post directly on top of the concrete without some type of anchor to hold it in place. Some brands of metal anchors are available at your lumber and hardware stores. If you are using a 6" x 6" pressure treated (Pt) post, buy the number of anchors you need, one for each post. One type is a flat plate with a center nail hole and 4 'feet" or points sticking out from the bottom in each corner. Place the anchor on the bottom of the plate with the "feet" or points facing downward, away from the post. Nail a 10 penny common nail through the plate into the post to hold it there while you work. Stand the post upright at the line marked for the angle of your framing. The "feet" will bite into the concrete footing pier from the weight of post and make it Roughly impossible to slide it around. Once the weight of the deck is on the post, it will not move. Repeat this work for each post for your deck. There are many types of post to footing anchors available. Some want a bolt be set in the concrete pier and the anchor then bolts to that and then nails to the post. All work equally well.

Now with all your posts ready, we'll assume you have 4 for this deck, you can whether stand the posts into their exact positions as intimately as potential and use some 2" x4"" lumber to brace them in an upright position until you perfect the sub-floor framing for the deck or stand one post, frame to it, stand someone else post, frame to it, etc. I recommend you stand all the posts first to check your deck layout before you get half of it framed and find out you made a math mistake in your layout.

As you frame along to your plans, the old carpenters adage that quantum twice, cut once, is still precise today. Lumber is expensive. Don't waste it and don't be in a rush! Wasted lumber costs money and a slip or fall with a saw or sledge hammer, can cause serious injury. Be just while you work but enjoy it. Your plans show the size and number of post required. At this point they should all be standing, temporarily braced. The next item to be installed is the ledger board on the house if it is not already there. This board(s) will run the width of you deck minus 3". The exterior band joist nails to the ends of the ledger board for a neat complete look. The ledger board is always one size larger than your floor joists. 2 " x 8" floor joists, 2" x 10" ledger board. After removing the required siding to allow the ledger to be installed, nail the ledger with some 10 penny commons in a few places just to hold it there. Now a minute math work. If you are using 2" x 6" decking lumber for your deck floor, set the top of the ledger board, 1 5/8" below the door sill to the deck. 2" lumber is admittedly 1 5/8" thick. If you want a 4" step out the door, set it 5 5/8" below the door sill and so on. With the ledger temporarily nailed in place, layout your joist locations on the ledger. Don't forget the exterior band joists on each end. Your plans will tell you if the joists are 16" on center (O.C.), 12" O.C. Or anyone the develop calls for them to be. Using your measuring tape, starting on one side of the deck and measuring from the exterior of band joist, the next joist goes 16" On Center, not the edge of the board. More than likely it will not come out even spaces. One space will be smaller. Do Not Make Them Larger! The lumber is sized by develop to carry a certain weight and production the joist spaces larger could cause a collapse of the deck.

With the joist layout complete, you can now see the spaces between the joists. starting on the end bays or spaces, drill 2 holes, one above the other equally spaced in the ledger for lag bolts. Each bay after the end bays, gets one bolt not two. Stagger the bolts up and down from the top to the bottom so one bay the bolt is 2" down from the top in the center of the bay, the next is 2" up from the bottom in the center of the bay and so on. Pre-drill a pilot hole for each lag bolt. The lag bolt must be long adequate to pass through the ledger and house plywood and into the house band joist behind. An example would be using a 2" ledger, ½" plywood on house, and a 2" band joist on the house, you would need a 4" lag bolt. Remember, lumber is 1 5/8" not admittedly 2". Here's where and galvanic impact socket gun comes in handy. You need to use a socket and ratchet for this work but it is potential with a plain old wrench. whether way, wrench or socket, your arms will be worn out when you have them all installed. The galvanic impact gun makes very short work of this task.

Ok we have the ledger installed, joists laid out on the ledger and it is time to build and set the beam across your piers or top of your retain posts that will carry the exterior end of the floor joists. The beam shown on the plans could be shown as 3- 2" x 10". You have to develop a beam from 2" x 10" lumber, three pieces thick, as long as your ledger board on the house. If your deck is 12' long, just nail 3-2" x 10" x 12' pieces together and your done. If your deck is 18' long this probably will not work. Some long distance lumber is available but is very costly. It is cheaper to get 4- 2" x10" x 12' and 1- 2" x 10" x 8' piece. You cut one 2 " x 12" x 12' in half production two 6' pieces. Layout one 12' and one 6" piece end to end. Now layout someone else 12' piece over the 6' piece below and lap 6' onto the first 12' piece. Fill the 2nd layer with the other 6' piece you cut. Nail these together with 10 penny common nails. You now have two pieces 18' long, nailed together with the joints in the wood not lining up. Never line up the end joints. When nailed, place the last 12' piece over the 2nd layer starting from the 6' end and lapping over the joint. Fill in the last end with a cut 8' piece 6'. You have only 2' of wasted wood so far.! When nailed with 12 penny commons to the first two layers, you have an 18' long beam, securely nailed together with No joints lining up. This is very leading if the beam is constructed from pieces. Last note, every board has tree increase rings showing on the ends. Place your first layer of both boards so the rings point the same way down. Place the 2nd layer so the rings face up. Place the 3rd layer so the rings face down. When the boards dry out and try to warp, this alternating of the rings will help keep your beam straight and not warp or bow. Ok here's where you need some extra muscle. You must at this point do a minute math again. With the retain post standing, you need to figure how long the posts need to be, plus the beam, plus the floor joists and then the decking. So again: (* actual size)

floor joists 7 5/8"*

beam 9 5/8"*

total 17 1/4"* Or 1'-5 1/4"* All Together.

Remember you have to add the thickness' of the pieces you are using. Above is an example only.

Now is the time to install the framing anchors. install one framing anchor for each interior floor joist. The end joist or band joists get nailed to the end of the ledger and do not want a framing anchor. Nail one of the framing joist hanger on line whether to the left or right side of the floor joist. Many people like it one way or the other. anyone works best for you. Do Not nail both sides to the ledger. Ok beam setting time. Having figured out the height of the beam and joist assembly, change the elevation of the Top of the ledger on the house out to your posts. The mark on the posts, will be level with the top of the ledger. The tripod and level you rented, make this short work. It is potential to use a string line and bubble level but that is not as precise and is admittedly tough to do. Do not try it with a 4' carpenters level. If the level is off by only 1 /16" per foot, in a 12' wide deck that's 3/8" out of level not counting pencil marks. Most carpenter levels are off more than that. Trust me.

Ok with the posts marked, deduct the height of your joist/beam assembly as in the example 1'-5 ¼". Make this line Below the upper mark. This is where you cut your posts. Remember-Measure Twice, Cut Once. Cut off the posts with your saw and be careful. Standing on a ladder is awkward. Make sure you have someone keeping the ladder and you have a firm footing. Watch where the top of the post is going to fall. Don't hit your partner, your going to need him shortly. Ok now, with the posts securely braced, get all the help you can find to lift the beam into place on top of the posts. This was a good day to have a picnic or some other way to trick your friends or relatives into advent over. (Don't tell it is to do work!). All together, lift the beam into place squarely on top of the posts. Hopefully you have two or more ladders so the beam can be nailed into the posts as swiftly as possible. You don't want to equilibrium it any longer than you have too. Now you can also see why I keep repeating the requirement for bracing the posts so well. Your braces are keeping both the post and the beam at this point but not for long.

Now with all your help, start installing the floor joists. Drop one into each joist hanger on the ledger and place the other end on top of the beam. While one someone nails the ledger end on the layout mark and against the nailed side of the of the hanger, the other someone nails it into place on top of the beam. Jump around a minute putting joists in every 3rd of 4th one and you will find that each one will help stabilize your beam and post assembly. Once a few are done, the assembly becomes much more carport and easier to work on. Toenail each joist securely to the ledger and top of the beam. Now you can perfect your metal ledger joist hangers and beam to post connectors. Bend the ledger joist hangers around the joist until they are tight against each side and the bottom of the joist. These hanger have 2 indented metal fingers on each side that you can drive in with your hammer to hold them securely in place. Each hanger comes with short nails that are required to be driven into each hole in the hanger. Some hangers have 4 holes some 5 but anyone it is, install a nail in each hole both into the ledger and into the joist on both sides. The construction inspector will look for these nails.

Bridging- In the case of a deck where the span between the ledger and the edge of the beam is 8' or greater, bridging is required to forestall the joists from warping and spreading apart thereby loosening the nails in the decking or maybe pulling out the nails from the ledger or the beam causing the deck structure to fail. Bridging can be whether cut from left over pieces of wood joists, or metal bridging which is available at all lumberyards. Wood bridging or blocking is cut to fit in between two joists. Nail each one on center line of the deck offsetting the ends left and right so as to be bale to end nail them through the joist itself. Do not toenail them. When your done you will have one row Roughly center of deck all the way across. Metal bridging naturally nails form the top of one joist to the bottom of the other. Make sure you tell the salesperson what your joist centers are. 16"Oc are longer than 12" Oc. Metal strap bridging comes laid flat. Nail one end to top of joist, bend down and under the next and nail to the bottom of the 2nd joist in a criss cross manner. They are available in Some separate brands.

Now it is the time to take a break. Look over your work so far. There is bound to be nail missing or not driven wholly into the wood. Cease all this first and then you can take off the braces for you posts.

Remove All Nails From Your Braces! Stepping on a nail sticking out a board is very painful and will cause a severe foot injury. always strip all nails from wood when it is removed. Don't put it off untill later.

Cleanup- Cleanup all the debris from your framing work. Make sure the ground is leveled around your footing piers and rocks and other debris is removed. Even a small rock can cause you to twist an ankle.

Decking-After installing a flashing over the ledger board, start you decking against the house and work outward. I always leave a ½" space between the house and the first decking board. This will allow rain to fall through the occasion and not wick down your siding or house plywood. It once was thought precise to leave a nail width between decking boards but this is not a good idea. Wood shrinks. Butt the boards together without forcing them. whether nail or screw them to the joists below. Use at least two screws for each deck board to each joist. Three is better. Use the longest distance deck boards you can get. The less end joints the better. If you must butt two boards together, make sure you center the butt over the center of the joist and toenail or screw each one to the joist. Many carpenter like to let the boards "run wild" over one end of the deck, and then strike a chalk line at the end of the installation and cut them all at once. This will give you a better complete look instead of cutting each board and trying to line them up in a exquisite straight line.

Handrails-Every state is separate in its requirements. My state requires handrails 36" high with a mid point rail as well as a minimum if the deck is more than 30" above the ground. Railings must withstand a 250 pound side load push. Designs can vary by what the homeowner wants to see as a complete product. Handrails could be cedar, Pt lumber, plastic, vinyl or even pipe. The types and styles are endless. A few points though to remember. The handrail posts must be securely fastened to the exterior band joist by whether through bolting them or lagging them. through bolting is far the better manner. Cutting away ½ of the post to contribute a rectangular notch the height of the band joist and the decking and then bolting makes a strong, gain handrail post. Two bolts minimum in each post to the exterior band joint is required. The handrails and top cap can then be nailed or screwed to the posts and contribute a safe barrier against an accidental fall. Just about anyone you can imagine, you can build for a handrail system

Final-Buy a integrate of sheets of 100 or 120 grit sandpaper, Wrap the sandpaper around a piece of 2x4 and rub it along the edges of the handrails and posts. This will take off and potential splinters for soft hands.

Place the picnic table and barbecue on the deck, sit back and enjoy your hard work!

The National Academies report, "Rising Above the gathering Storm," warns that unless we do something about our children's deteriorating international standings in math and science, America's going to lose what's left of its technological edge. Only one-third of fourth and eighth graders in the United States, and less than twenty percent of twelfth graders, reached proficiency in math and science in 2005. It seems the No Child Left Behind Act forgot a few kids along the way.

American Kids Are persisting to Fail Math - Let's Get Radical And Ask For Help

Blame goes colse to authentically enough, but solutions lag behind a lap or two. Parents blame the teachers; teachers blame home lives; many just blame the law itself. Our collective educational facilities are out-of-date, overcrowded, and rampant with financial favoritism. Part of the problem is uneven taxation: a percentage of collective school funding is sourced from local property taxes. What happens, then, to schools supported by neighborhoods with low property values? This issue jumps in and out of the media spotlight, but in all actuality, it's a chronic problem. Innumerable inner-city schools authentically are criminally, persistently deprived, while many suburban facilities are equipped with the newest and greatest. The questions surrounding racial bias, then, are only a short sidestep away. Areas of low property value are often inhabited by minorities, who, in turn, receive less school funding and suffer higher dropout rates. Those who complete fewer years of schooling tend to get stuck in lower earnings jobs, are unable to purchase higher priced properties, send their kids to the neighborhood (lower income) schools - and so the merry-go-round spins again.

Gerardo Gonzalez, dean of the Indiana University School of Education, and a minority himself, believes educational equality is at the very foundation of today's civil rights' debates. Gonzalez heads a agenda that provides the largest number of teachers for Indiana schools and is the third largest victualer of teachers for the United States.

"Education is the great equalizer in a democratic society, and if habitancy are not given way to quality education, then what we are doing is creating an underclass of habitancy who will ultimately challenge our very way of life," said Gonzalez. "...I think the civil possession request of our nation today is that of way to a quality education. The lower class - many of whom are habitancy of color - are disproportionately represented among drop-outs and...other collective pathologies. The means by which those populations can have a occasion to be victorious and address some of their problems is through education. So we are talking about ensuring way to a quality schooling for all children."

Declining mathematics scores are the ever-present culprits in the majority of these educational issues. America's international schoraly standing is in jeopardy, in part, because of our children's lack of understanding of what has been dubbed the "universal language" - yet other language, it seems, in which Americans aren't even conversational.

Scoring low on a few math tests is just the beginning, however, for many of these children. Study conducted in 2005 by Johns Hopkins University and the Philadelphia schooling Fund revealed that as many as half of all Philadelphia high school dropouts showed signs predicting their early departure from school as early as the sixth grade. Four factors were primary in forecasting these Awol students: low attendance, poor behavior, failing math, and failing English grades. Other studies report that parents' anxiety about math can dramatically affect their children's success in the subject. Possibly math homework should be mandated for everyone, of all ages, just to make sure we get back on par. Maybe, then, our grades would improve.

So if higher marks on the global school scale mean serious math homework, then it should also mean (Dare I say it?) more math help! Schools, parents, and the media are continually blasted for our children's lackluster performances, but microscopic in the way of practical solutions - or the funding to back them - are authentically offered. Go on, Senator, kiss the babies, but what are you going to do when that kid fails his basic subjects because Congress didn't pay enough concentration to the parents' groups? Classroom teachers can offer their aid to a sure extent, but they have dozens, if not hundreds, to teach and many pupils find microscopic help at home.

Professional math tutors need to be more readily ready -- so do those contribution calculus help, geometry help, and algebra help, for that matter. College preparatory courses need students to master at least the basic concepts of all of these. Online tutoring systems are great options for students who need more flexible schedules, and for school boards that need sound, one-time investments. If America authentically wants to see great test results, then they should request more aid in, and out of, the classroom.

Benjamin Franklin thought about the definition of insanity to be "doing the same thing over and over and expecting distinct results." We can be disgusted by our nation's comparably poor global schoraly standing, but we can't be that surprised; the educational law has been doing the same things, teaching with the same methods for years. It's the adults who are failing; it's the adults who are crazy to think this can all be fixed by watching the passive tube of time, but doing microscopic in the way of revamping. Deconstruct it, I say! Tear the issue apart and start seeing radical solutions! Because the kids keep coming, in greater and greater numbers, the funding keeps declining, and, before we can blink one lazy eye, they're going to be running the world.

Traveling Teddy Bears Show Me the Math - Part 1 - An Introduction

No.1 Article of 4Th Grade Math Curriculum

Mathematics is one of the core branch areas in any school curriculum, be it the regular classroom setting or the home schooling environment. Regardless of the studying situation, incorporating traveling teddy bears into the mathematics curriculum is something that is easy to do, captures the attention of the student, and engages them in their own learning.

Differences among countries exist, but basically there are 5 areas of the mathematics curriculum that are covered during the scholastic year. They are: Numeration and number Sense, Measurement, Patterning and Algebra, Data supervision and Probability, and Geometry and Spatial Sense.

Numeration and number Sense deals with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals and percentage. Measurement concepts include: distance, length, area, perimeter, volume, time, and temperature; while Patterning and Algebra looks at identifying and creating addition or decreasing patterns and comprehension relationships in the middle of pairs of expressions. Of course, with each grade level there is a corresponding increase in the complexity of the article and level of skills and knowledge incredible of the student. The Data supervision and Probability area of the math curriculum deals with collecting, organizing, and representing data in a collection of modalities as well as the reading, describing and the interpretation of the data being represented. In the probability article area of this math strand, students are required to predict the outcomes of experiments and then guide the experiment and collate the two results. Towards the upper levels of elementary school, students would be required to make predictions about real-life events using probability models. Geometry and Spatial Sense looks at identifying 2D shapes and 3D figures and classify them according to a collection of characteristics. And again, the complexity of the math skills incredible would be greater with each subsequent school year. Lastly, in this math strand, students would be incredible to understand the grid/co-ordinate principles and be able to apply that knowledge in varied situations.

In addition to these aspects of the math curriculum, there are a number of categories that the instructor uses to ensure pupil studying and facilitate continued student-specific instruction. Knowledge and comprehension of the article is basic to any part of the math curriculum under study. In addition to comprehension the content, the teachers look at pupil reasoning skills. Namely, critical thinking, creative reasoning and the process students use to solve problems. Communication is someone else big component of this kind section, since students need to be able to supply the rationale for their answers whether orally, visually, or in written form. Having these distinct venues accommodates the varied pupil studying styles, while at the same time providing the instructor with the information needed to collate pupil studying and make the critical modifications. pupil application of the skills and knowledge is the fourth critical category. Students need to be able to extrapolate their comprehension of their results and make connections in the middle of varied contexts.

By incorporating the travels of the teddy bear into the math curriculum, the instructor is able to make the material relevant to the math concepts being taught. For example, a uncomplicated math problem related to distance and time might look something like this: Sam takes his bear, Teddy, to grandma's house for Thanksgiving. They leave at 10:00Am in the morning and arrive one and a half hours later at their destination. What time is it when they arrive? [primary] They tour at 50mph/80kph. How far did the house have to tour to grandma's home? Or, a bit more complicated: The house leaves early in the morning and it takes 3.25 hours to get there. They arrive at 11:30Am. They travel, on average, about 60mph/100kph. What distance did they travel?

Whether or not the traveling teddy bear is used in this problem, students still need to be able to compute these answers. By incorporating the teddy bear into the question, it becomes more relevant and more lively for the student. To follow up: the pupil now records this information in his math journal.

No.1 Article of 4Th Grade Math Curriculum

Along about third or fourth grade, children begin to make the transition to independent learning. They construct interests of their own, and can show excellent quality to dig deeply into a topic, becoming experts in their chosen field of study.

A great way to riposte and encourage this new independence and enthusiasm is to give your students a say in what topics they will study. Instead of brainstorming the coming school year's themes during the summer, why not get age-appropriate books and magazines on a variety of topics, and have them waiting for your students as they walk into your classroom at the starting of the school year? Give them a integrate days to look over the materials in their classroom, and then announce that they are going to decide what themes they will study that year, based on the books and magazines in their classroom.

4Th Grade Math Curriculum

Have a brainstorming session with the children and have them advise topics for themes. Write each topic down on the blackboard, and then have each child select five favorites from the list. Tally the results (or have one of your students tally them), and come up with the top five topics. At that point you can have other vote to select the topic of the first theme. You might want to save the others for later in the school year, or have other brainstorming session and vote when it's time for a new theme. You may also want the children to put their names on their "ballots", so you can integrate some of these theme ideas into learning centers or independent projects for personel students.

How to Cure Math Anxiety

#1. How to Cure Math Anxiety

How to Cure Math Anxiety

Math Anxiety is an Epidemic

How to Cure Math Anxiety

If you were to ask any child what her most feared field was, most probably she would reply math. Math is tough; there is no doubt about that. Learning math takes lots of effort. But the sad truth is that many parents leave 100% of the responsibility of teaching to school teachers. However, that is a mistake for the best math students are being heavily coached at home.

Steps to Overcoming Math Anxiety

If your child doesn't take to math like a duck to water, don't despair. Kids were not built for math. In fact, there is no such thing as a natural-born math whiz. Here are the steps to take if you want your child to overcome her math anxiety and become a math whiz. Don't worry, there is no such thing as too late even if she is in high school.

1. Go Backwards

If your child has serious difficulties with math, start with the grade level she can favorably handle. So if your child is currently in 5th Grade, you might have to start with 4th Grade or even 3rd Grade math. That is all right. Don't think that you are insulting her intelligence. Just tell your child that you have a proven strategy for helping her ace her math tests at school.

2. Lots and Lots of Math Problems

Buy lots of workbooks for your child. Get her to solve lots of math problems. You can also download worksheets from the internet. You can start slow but over time your child should be spending at least an hour a day on math. I am not joking. Since your child is starting with math problems at a lower grade level she shouldn't find it all that difficult and dreary.

3. Make it Fun and Funny

Make your math lessons fun by cracking jokes and showing lots of enthusiasm when you are teaching her. Show her your love for math. Hopefully, that will be contagious.

You can even generate your own funny math problems. Instead of the boring "If John has 3 marbles and Jenny has 5 more marbles than John, how many marbles do they have altogether?" you could write "If Witch Wilda has 3 hairy warts on her slimy tongue and Wizard Woku has 5 more warts on his slimy tongue than Witch Wilda, how many gross warts do they have altogether?" you would have a much better response from your child, after she has stopped giggling.

4. Praise and Build Self-Esteem

Every time your child finishes her work to the best of her ability, praise her for her effort. "You for real worked hard to solve those problems. I am so proud of you!" Your child will come to love your praise and attentiveness and will work harder to earn more praise.

Always praise her for her effort, but don't ever call her a math whiz. That is because your child must learn the all-important part that any challenge can be overcome by hard work, not by talent alone. This will also preclude her from being crippled in the time to come by math anxiety if she has mystery with a particularly tough math problem. Instead, she will have faith in her potential to solve any curious problem. She will know that as long as she has the right attitude she will eventually learn how to solve any math question, no matter how terribly difficult it may seem to be at the moment.

5. Promote Your Child

If you do it right, your child will come to love math and will hunger for more math questions. As she gets better and better, you will soon find that she has concluded one grade level and will be ready to move on to the next. Go ahead and promote her to the next grade level. Don't be surprised if in a year's time she has completed a few grades and is even ahead of her peers!

In Conclusion

Rome was not built in a day, and neither will your child's math skills. It will take patience, estimation and love on your part to help your child build her self-confidence in math. Happy teaching!
